Membership
Membership Meetings
HLG provides many programs and activities to engage the Hispanic community and other
influential leaders into discussing the issues that concern us all. We hold bi-monthly membership
meetings (a regular forum for speakers, spirited discussion, and valuable networking), we
organize conferences and seminars, and we actively sponsor the annual
Hispanic Day at Jefferson City (a non–partisan visit with elected officials and heads of agencies
to raise awareness of issues affecting our Hispanic community), the Civic Awareness forum ( a
non-partisan educational forum for candidates and elected officials interested in the Hispanic
community), and so many other relevant events.
HLG believes than an awareness of our surrounding and the issues at hand benefit our area’s
Hispanic population as well as the general community.
Dues and Application
Annual dues are only $15 for individual membership and $25 for organizations. That’s a real
bargain! Our regular membership meetings are free of charge, but some events could have a
reasonable cost to defray expenses.
